🌿 A Lifetime Shaped by Traditional Chinese Medicine
Sarah Clark’s journey into acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began long before her formal training. Growing up in a family immersed in TCM, guided by her mother, Lily Shwe-yin Clark, a respected acupuncturist who established her UK practice in the 1970s, Sarah has been surrounded by this healing tradition since childhood.
This early exposure shaped not only her understanding of health and wellbeing, but also her deep appreciation for the wisdom, philosophy and clinical precision that underpin TCM.
Today, Sarah brings more than 16 years of clinical experience, advanced academic training, and a compassionate, whole-person approach to her work with patients across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and North-West London.

🌿 Academic Excellence & Professional Credential
Sarah completed her four-year, full-time Bachelor of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at Middlesex University, London, the only Chinese Medicine degree of its kind to be taught outside of China, and is affiliated with:
The Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine
The Ming-Ai Institute, London
The University of Chinese Medicine, Beijing
Her rigorous training included two years of practice at the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and clinical placements with the NHS at the Whittington and North Middlesex Hospital pain clinics in London.
She graduated with First Class Honours and was awarded the prestigious Prize for Excellence in TCM Studies by the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM), reflecting both her academic insight and her dedication to clinical practice.
Sarah is a registered member of:
British Acupuncture Council
Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine
Acupuncture Fertility Network
Royal Society of Medicine (Associate Member)
These memberships reflect her commitment to ongoing study, ethical practice, and evidence-informed care.

🌿 Our Clinical Philosophy: Treating the Whole Person
At the heart of Sarah’s practice is a simple, timeless philosophy:
Health becomes possible when we understand the body as a unified, dynamic whole. When regulation returns, the body’s innate healing processes reawaken; easing symptoms, resolving disorder, preventing illness, and supporting each system back into its natural rhythm of optimal function
This belief guides every treatment plan. Using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional guidance and lifestyle support, Sarah works to:
understand the root pattern of imbalance
support the body’s natural self-regulating mechanisms
improve long-term wellbeing
create meaningful and lasting change
Her approach is gentle, thoughtful and responsive, ensuring each patient feels heard, supported and empowered.

🌿 Sarah’s Specialist Treatment Area: Fertility & Reproductive Health
While Sarah treats a wide range of general health conditions, she has developed a respected special interest in fertility, reproductive health and hormonal balance.
Her postgraduate training in fertility, gynae and obstetrics and membership in the Acupuncture Fertility Network reflect her ongoing study in:
Unexplained infertility
Preconception care
Assisted conception support (IVF, IUI, ICSI, FET)
PCOS
Endometriosis
Ovulatory and menstrual disorders
Recurrent miscarriage
Male fertility and sperm quality
Sarah’s work in this area is rooted not only in clinical expertise but in her belief that fertility treatment should be compassionate, comprehensive and deeply personalised.
She is also a regular speaker at The Fertility Show in London, sharing insights into the role of acupuncture and TCM in modern fertility care.
