Member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network
NHS Trusts’ Association of Complementary Health Practitioners Member

Sarah grew up surrounded by the practice and understanding of acupuncture and Chinese medicine since the age of 4. Her mother, Lily Shwe-yin Clark (nee Kyan), a 35 year+ experienced acupuncturist came to the UK from Taiwan in the 1970s and started a private practice within the family home. Years later, Sarah gained her accreditation and certification as an Acupuncture and TCM practitioner from Middlesex University. This 4 year full-time Bachelor of Science degree programme based in Highgate, London, is a reputable and internationally recognised Acupuncture and TCM programme taught in partnership with the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and the Ming-Ai Institute, London, and is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and affiliated in partnership with the University of Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China, being the only degree course of its kind to be taught outside of China.

Culminating 4 years of teaching from some of the UK’s most prestigious tutors, Doctor’s and practitioners in TCM, plus her 2 years’ Acupuncture and TCM clinical practice at the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and both the Whittington and North Middlesex NHS Hospitals’ pain clinics, Sarah graduated with a First Class Honours degree and was additionally awarded the ‘Prize for Excellence in TCM Studies’.

Sarah’s philosophy is to improve and maintain the health of both parents and child, from pre-conception through to post-natal. A healthy conception is not just about fertility but the entire process from development of healthily matured eggs and sperm, to a smooth full-term pregnancy and birth of healthy babies. Our practice of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine can enhance both male and female sub-fertility and successfully treat specific cases of male or female infertility plus many gynecological conditions, such as PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, various menstrual irregularities and recurrent miscarriage as well as supportive treatment to avoid ectopic pregnancy. Whether you are considering treatment to aid and fortify a natural healthy conception, or for complementary assistance to various ART (assisted reproductive technologies) such as IVF, IUI and ICSI treatment, our medical expertise in the practice of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine can provide you with the best possible chance of a successful conception and healthy child. We also treat during pregnancy for a variety of obstetric disorders and post-pregnancy conditions including, to name a few: nausea and vomiting, turning breech positioned babies, inducing labour, post-natal depression and insufficient breast lactation; and your baby’s colic, cough and cold, too!

Our clinic maintains a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients of all ages; an honest and ethical environment with your complete healthcare, wellbeing and comfort as the highest priority. To arrange an appointment, please contact our clinic.
